Sun Exposure is the number one cause of skin aging and skin cancer. Aside from acne one of the major skin problems people are battling is skin darkening and skin aging. From my recent posts,I told you that i love anything that has SPF on it meaning you get more protection not only from skin darkening but also from the aging effects of the suns UV rays.
While i was doing my toiletry shopping the first things that caught my attention with this products is that has a very BIG SPF 60 sign in front of the bottle. It is a big orange bottle about 6 Fl oz (fluid ounce) or about 177 ml big. Usual Suncreens comes in different ranges of SPFs usually from spf 15 to 35 the highest ive used so far is an spf 50 . So The Big number 60 infront of the bottle was my deciding factor from buying this product.
On the box: It comes in a flat colored turqouise box whic has the label Skin Effects by Dr. Jeffrey Dover Suncreen Lotion with Dermaplex Technology . So what is this Dermaplex Technology ? Apparently what sets this Suncreen different from other sunscreens it that it was formulated with a high spf yet less of chemical sunscreens, its hypoallergenic and doent clog the pores. which was one of my concerns since Ive tried sunscreens that made me break out in the past and so far i havent break out with this product
The Dermaplex technology helps protect against UVB Rays which are the primary cause of sunburn and UVA rays which are the most penetratring and can cause damage resulting in premature aging. This formula provides ab lend of anti oxidants to help combat frree radical activity in the skin
Now for the Review.
- Package wise - this products is very easy to notice since it comes in a really big bottle (177 ml) One of the Things that caught my attention besides the High SPF is that It has A Skin Cancer Foundation seal of recommendation and approval. So you definitely know thats a good thing
- It is non greasy, Oil Free and Dermatologist tested so you know its safe for you rksin
- If you have dry skin This products is super moisturizing and enriched with Vitamins A, C and E that provide skin moisturization for up to 12 hours yest its gentele enough for sensitive skin.

The Product: The product on its own is quite heavy on application just like other sunscreen the product initially leaves an opaque and white cast which eventually gets absorbed and blends with your skin . It has no greasy afterfeel as well . so generally its a good product
The CONS: The only thing i dont like about this product is it has a slight chemically smell. Although the product package indicates that is fragrance free it does have a light chemical smell to it yet tolerable.
